Questions, Answered Properly
Cutoffs, pricing, coverage and how we actually operate. If your question is not here, ring (905) 500-9443 and ask.
Booking and cutoff times
What is the cutoff for same-day delivery?
11:30 AM. A request that reaches us by then is delivered by 5:00 PM the same working day. The clock in the site header counts down to it, so you can always see how much of the window is left.
What happens if I book after 11:30 AM?
Your job is priced at Rush rates and delivered inside three hours. After 2:30 PM it moves again to Direct, which is ninety minutes. We do this rather than accepting a Same Day booking we already know we cannot make.
What are your business hours?
Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. We are closed Saturday, Sunday and statutory holidays. You can submit a pickup request through the website at any hour — it will be waiting for us when we open, and we will call you back then.
Do you deliver on weekends?
Not as a published service. Weekend work is arranged case by case, so call us and we will give you a straight answer rather than a maybe.
How do I book?
Either fill in the pickup request form, which takes about three minutes and gives you a reference number, or call (905) 500-9443 and we will take the details on the phone. Both routes end with a person confirming the job with you.
Will someone confirm my booking?
Yes. Every request gets a phone call from our team within thirty minutes during business hours, to confirm the pickup window and check the addresses. That call is not optional on our side — it is how we catch problems before a driver is dispatched.
Pricing
How much does a delivery cost?
It depends on the zone and the service level. Same Day runs from $18 in Zone 1 to $46 in Zone 10; Rush from $22 to $56; Direct from $28 to $66. The full chart is published, and the calculator will price your exact job in a few seconds.
Are there any hidden fees?
No. There are exactly three additions to a base rate: $0.15 per pound on weight over 30 lbs, a $15 van charge when a van is required, and 13% HST. We do not bill a fuel surcharge, a residential fee, a liftgate charge or an after-hours premium.
How does the weight surcharge work?
Only the weight above 30 lbs is charged, at $0.15 per pound. A 30 lb shipment carries nothing. A 45 lb shipment is billed on 15 lbs, which comes to $2.25. Weight is in pounds — the calculator has a kg toggle if you need it, but our rate card is imperial.
When does the $15 van charge apply?
When the job genuinely needs a van rather than a car — bulky items, pallets, several boxes, or anything that will not travel safely in a sedan. If you are unsure, tick the box for a safe estimate and we will confirm it on the call.
What if neither end of my trip is in Zone 1?
Our chart is built around Brampton and Mississauga. For a trip like Markham to Burlington, we apply the higher of the two zone rates plus a $10 inter-zone uplift — so $35 plus $10, which is $45 on Same Day. The calculator shows the uplift as its own line.
Why do Whitby and Oshawa show two different prices?
They appear on an older printed out-of-town sheet as well as in the zone chart. The zone chart wins: both are Zone 10 and price at $46 on Same Day. Anything inside the ten GTA zones is always priced from the zone chart.
Is the price I see final?
It is an estimate based on what you tell us, and it is accurate as long as the weight is. The final rate is confirmed at pickup against the actual weight. If something is heavier than declared, we will tell you at collection rather than surprising you on an invoice.
Coverage
Which areas do you cover?
Ten GTA zones covering Brampton, Mississauga, Toronto, Scarborough, Vaughan, Markham, Richmond Hill, Aurora, Newmarket, Oakville, Georgetown, Burlington, Milton, Pickering, Ajax, Whitby and Oshawa. Beyond that we serve sixty-two out-of-town destinations across Ontario at flat published rates.
Do you deliver outside the GTA?
Yes, on a same-day basis, from Bolton at $40 through to Sudbury at $600. Rush and Direct outside the GTA are quoted individually, because a three-hour commitment to Sarnia depends on the hour and where our vehicles already are.
My destination is not on your list. Can you still do it?
Almost certainly. The list is where we hold a standing rate, not the edge of where we will drive. Send us the details and we will price it.
Do you cross the border into the US?
We quote cross-border runs like Buffalo individually rather than pricing them automatically, because they carry customs paperwork and a different liability profile. Call us and we will work through it with you.
Service and operations
Can I track my delivery online?
Not yet. Online tracking is planned, and we would rather say so plainly than point you at a page that does not work. In its place, every request gets a reference number and a confirmation call, and if you want an update mid-job you can ring us and we will tell you where the driver is.
What is the difference between Rush and Direct?
Rush is three hours door to door and may be scheduled alongside other compatible work. Direct is ninety minutes and is exclusive — the vehicle collects from you and drives straight to the delivery address with no other stop in between. That exclusivity is what you are paying the difference for.
Do you carry medical specimens?
Yes. Specimens, lab work and pharmacy runs are a regular part of our courier work, and the Direct tier exists largely for jobs with a clinical clock on them. Tell us the handling requirements when you book.
How heavy a shipment will you take?
The calculator prices up to 500 lbs and ten pieces. Above either of those it stops guessing and asks you to contact us, because at that point it is usually a freight job rather than a courier run — and our freight side will price it better.
Accounts and payment
What payment terms do you offer?
Net 15 days for approved account customers. If you are not on an account, payment is taken at pickup.
How do I open a business account?
Get in touch and tell us roughly what your volumes look like. Accounts give you Net 15 terms, one consolidated invoice instead of job-by-job payment, and a named contact on our side.
Do you offer volume discounts?
We review pricing once we can see your actual lane mix rather than promising a percentage up front. If you are shipping regularly on predictable routes, that is a conversation worth having.
Is HST included in your published rates?
No — every rate on this site is shown excluding HST, and 13% is added to the subtotal. The calculator always shows both figures so there is no ambiguity.
More questions to come
Blueprint §14 lists a further set of FAQ answers as outstanding client input — prohibited items, liability limits, the claims process, and the data retention period.
Those need your real answers rather than plausible-sounding ones, so they are not written here yet.
Still not sure?
Ring us. Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and a person picks up.
