Rush Courier — Three Hours, Door to Door
Three hours from pickup to delivery, anywhere in the GTA. This is what runs after the 11:30 AM Same Day cutoff has passed, and what you book when the afternoon has gone sideways. Rates start at $22.
A three-hour clock, not a three-hour estimate
Rush is measured from the moment we collect. Three hours later it is delivered. Because the window is fixed rather than routed around other work, a Rush job is not consolidated with a driver's existing run — it gets priority on the schedule.
Most Rush bookings are not planned. Something did not ship when it should have, a customer moved a deadline, or a part turned out to be wrong. That is the job this tier does: it absorbs the afternoon that went wrong without anybody having to drive across the city themselves.
When Rush pricing applies
Two ways you end up on Rush rates:
- You choose it because three hours is the window you need
- You request a job after 11:30 AM, at which point Same Day is no longer deliverable and Rush becomes the earliest honest option
The second case is worth being blunt about. Plenty of couriers will take a Same Day booking at 2 PM and then miss it. We would rather quote you the tier we can actually deliver.
Rush pricing
From $22 in Zone 1 to $56 in Zone 10. The surcharges are identical to Same Day: $0.15 per pound over 30 lbs, $15 if a van is needed, then 13% HST.
Worked example — Brampton to Toronto
Rush outside the GTA is quoted by phone. Our published out-of-town rates are Same Day only. A three-hour commitment to Barrie or Kitchener depends on the time of day and where our vehicles already are, so we price those individually rather than publishing a number we might not be able to honour.
Rush rates by zone
The middle column. To or from Zone 1, excluding HST.
